Our team

The people who will actually be in the room.

Engagements are led by the firm's principals and staffed with licensed and experienced professionals. Owners work with senior people throughout, not with a team they never meet after the first meeting.

    Leadership

Douglas Haan, Founder & Managing Principal at Haan Consulting Group

    Douglas Haan

    Founder & Managing Principal

Strategy, Value Creation & Transaction Advisory

Douglas Haan founded Haan Consulting Group to give owners of privately held companies a single advisory relationship across performance, financial clarity, enterprise value, and transition — rather than four disconnected ones.

He works directly with owners and management teams on strategy, operating discipline, and the specific drivers that determine what a business is worth to an outside party. That work runs from operational improvement through valuation, exit readiness, and the transaction itself.

Douglas leads engagements personally and remains involved through delivery. His approach is direct: define the decision, establish what the numbers actually support, and hold the plan to a schedule.

    Staffing

    How engagements are staffed

    A principal leads

Every engagement has a named principal accountable for the work and reachable directly.

    Specialists are added by need

CPA, CFO, valuation, and transaction professionals join based on what the engagement requires.

    The team carries forward

The people who did the preparation stay involved through valuation and, where it applies, the transaction.

    Talk With a Principal

First conversations are handled by a principal, are confidential, and carry no obligation.
